Sports Truck, 1965 Datsun NL320
Vintage Sports Truck, 1965 Datsun NL320
When we were turning in Craigslist we saw this ad, they offered an interesting Japanese small truck still in immaculate condition is said one of the thousand ever made. As the photos shown here all looks perfect hard to find imperfection. That's could be a remarkable example for its age. This is a Datsun NL320 "Sports Truck" released in 1965 already posted in Craigslist about a month ago and still available when we posting here, looks greats to kept it.
The engine bay looks good and clean, as shown here is a 1.2 L E-1 straight-four engine that was made by Nissan. This engine produced 60 PS.

Owner Says
1965 Datsun NL320 "Sports Truck" One of 1,000 produced, possibly under 200 left; very rare!
Selling because of lack of indoor storage, which it really should have!
Red (older job, I would refinish if keeping) shines up very well.
New orig. style vinyl interior, red/black. Non-original rubber mats. Z-Car glue-in headliner.
E-1 original 1200-cc. 60-hp. four cylinder, two-bbl., starts first time and runs smoothly. Unique 4-speed on steering column!
Replaced/rebuilt in last five years: generator, brake cylinders and shoes (excl. m-cyl.), battery, fan belt, tune-up kit, water pump, radiator, heater radiator, fuel tank cleaned and 'sloshed', air/oil/fuel filters, and more.
Radial w/w tires, may have original spare. Exhaust system sound condition.
Rare original hydraulic jack, and 'purse tray' under dash.
New set of NORS king pins included.
Rust: maybe, but besides a few freckles in the floor of the bed, I can't find any. Very slight old body damage observable; repaired.
Chrome and stainless trim: good to very good, and complete. Glass: good.
Note: unique tail light lenses show some interior age lines, but smooth and bright. Chrome trim shiny, but will need re-plating eventually.
This little 'truckette' was in indoor storage for over ten years, and is in very presentable 'original' condition. It drives extremely well, and turns heads wherever it goes! With good indoor storage, it could be enjoyed as/is for years, or easily restored to show or auction condition. Odometer should prob. show 117,880. Based on the Datsun two-door station wagon body, it has seven inches more floor length than N320 pickups; important if you're not a Geisha-size!!
Do not buy this Datsun if you want to go unnoticed on the street or at show n' shines! It is the ultimate mini-truck, and bright red to boot!
Seller can provide many other details by email or phone, poss. detail photos if requested.

Also: I have another project NL320, very rare factory black color, that is available for $3,000.000; rough and missing parts, a big project!
