Rare 427 Race Edition, Ford Galaxie 500 XL For Sale

Found this one cool of the American muscle cars being offered for sale in Craigslist looking for $40000 located in St. John, Indiana. As shown here is a rare Ford Galaxie 500 XL 427 Race Edition released in 1963 still in excellent condition overall inside and out, frame look solid with a white diamond paint, reportedly able to produced about 500 hp by the dyno test a year ago.

The body is very straight and rust free, all trim is complete including the 427 badges, mostly still with original factory condition, unless the exterior mirror that was gone and wearing unoriginal exterior color, but it was not to be dropped in value. Although was repainted about 10 years ago, the paintwork still in beautiful condition today and reasonably well done.

Detail about this car by owner
I am selling my 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 after the car being in the family for over 20 years. The story on the car is this car was ordered from a dealer in Arizona for the dealer principals daughter. The car was ordered as an original 390 police interceptor car. The dealer ordered a 427 center oiler engine and installed it in the car when the car arrived from the factory. This car has original air conditioning which is very rare as well. The teardrop hood is also from 1963 and the car has also a Detroit Locker rear end. The engine was dyno at well over 500 horespower years ago from my dad. I have the original wheels that came with the car as well. They are the 9inch wheels in the front and 10 inch wheels in the rear. My father painted the car about ten years ago and the color is white diamond. The original color of the car was Wimbleton white. The car has absolutely NO Rust at all. Not even the bolts on the exhaust have any rust at all. The interior is original and shows some wear but no rips or tears at all. The NADA value in the collector book is well over 65,000 dollars. I have priced the car to sell and would only consider a very late model 4 door pick up like an f-250 and has to be 2014 or 2015 or newer. I would consider a limited F-150 or any loaded model Chevy or Ford. Again it must be a 4 door. Please do not contact me to help me sell my car!!!! I will accept phone calls only and will not email or text unless first contacted by phone. This way it weeds out the scammers. Again CALLS ONLY!!!!...
